Health Technology and Assessment (HTA) is an essential field focusing on the evaluation of medical technologies to inform policy and clinical practice. Our 3-year Health Technology and Assessment program at Viast provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and methods used to assess the value of health technologies, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services. The curriculum covers health economics, evidence-based medicine, and the application of HTA in healthcare decision-making. Through practical training and internships, students gain hands-on experience in conducting assessments and working with stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
